The deliverer was the better option until i got my hands on a two-shot 10mm. My favourite effect prior was the rapid (25% fire rate) with an auto reciever, however 10mm ammo is not that easy to come by if your just scavenging. Not for full auto anyway. If you are maining pistols. The 10mm is pretty much the only actual pistol in the game. There is the.44, but the ammo for it is stupidly rare, even at high levels. As others have said, you will. A 10mm rifle would be awkward and not very lore-friendly in my opinion. Being able to turn the 10mm pistol into a sub-machine gun on the other hand would be a good idea. This allows for higher muzzle velocities and greater damage, as well as increased performance against armor. A softer metal jacket covers a dense penetrator, while the bullet is loaded with a higher powder load, leading to improved muzzle velocity. However, improved performance against armored targets leads to impaired performance against softer targets, as the higher velocity reduces the amount of kinetic energy transferred to the target on impact.

10mm hollow point rounds feature a pit or a hollowed out shape at the tip of the bullet. As a result, the bullet expands upon impact, delivering more kinetic energy to the target and disrupting tissue more extensively. However, this same property also leads to dramatically reduced penetrative power, as the bullet will be stopped by armor more easily due to its properties.
